Khawla is the co-founder of Chicago Muslims Green Team (CMGT). Khawla, first came to Chicago to study in 2012, fell in love with the city, and currently is a resident of Chicago. She holds a Master’s degree in Organization and Multicultural Communication specializing in Training and Development, and a Bachelor of Communication, majoring in Organizational Communication and Public Relations with a minor in Photography.
Khawla is an energetic “global ambassador”, wife and mother of two young sons who is a people person and passionate in engaging in outreach activities, networking, global issues, politics, religion, cultures, environment and traveling. She strives to continually educate herself, her family, neighbors and other people in her efforts and dream to make this world a better place for all creatures.
We connect Chicago Muslims and the greater community to issues of environmental justice and spreads awareness about an Eco-friendly lifestyle based on Islamic teachings.
